Ware & Kay Solicitors Supports Wetherby Rugby Union Club

As part of Ware & Kay Solicitors' involvement in community activities the firm are supporting Wetherby Rugby Union Club by hosting a corporate event on Saturday 2nd April for clients and professionals.

Ware & Kay have enjoyed a strong working relationship with Wetherby Rugby Club.  They have also shown their commitment over the years in several ways and are now providing match-day sponsorship.

Wetherby Rugby Club, which is due to play against Thornensians from Doncaster, has not been beaten in any competition since February 2014.  In real terms over 50 matches unbeaten.  They were promoted from Yorks Div 4 to Yorks Div 3 in season 2014-2015 and they are  currently top of Yorks Div 3, looking to earn promotion to Yorks Div 2 within the next two or three weeks.  This match may even see the Club secure the large league championship title.

Charlie Wetton, Chairman of Wetherby Rugby Union Club said "We're delighted that Ware & Kay Solicitors will be sponsoring our match against Thornensians on 2nd April.  We have had great support from Ware & Kay over the years with advertising at the club and their support is invaluable.  It is only through the support of firms like Ware & Kay that we are able to move this great club forwards, and most importantly upwards.  We look forward to welcoming all Ware & Kay employees and guests to what will be an exciting match, and we hope that they will come back and support us again in the future.

We are the current holders of the Yorkshire Silver Trophy. We are also in the semi-final of this competition and obviously hope to retain it. In addition, we are in the semi-final of the National Junior Vase.  If we win this match, we play the final at the Home of Rugby, "Twickenham" so this is a very exciting time for the Club".
