After more than 40 years with Ware & Kay Solicitors, Emma Elwess, Consultant for Wills & Probate in Malton, has stepped back from her role.
Emma has dedicated over four decades to supporting clients and families across North Yorkshire, starting her career with Pearsons & Ward Solicitors before the firm merged with Ware & Kay in 2015. Over the years, she has become a highly respected figure in Wills and Probate matters, guiding generations of clients with her compassionate approach and technical expertise through some of life’s most sensitive and important times.
While Emma is officially retiring from her day-to-day responsibilities, she is not saying goodbye entirely. She will continue to support the firm in an ongoing advisory capacity, maintaining her connection with colleagues, clients and professional contacts alike.
Emma said: “It has been a privilege to work with so many wonderful clients and colleagues. I am incredibly proud of the Wills & Probate team in Malton and have complete confidence in them as I hand over the reins. I will continue to remain involved with the firm in my new capacity.”
The Malton Wills & Probate team, led by Nicholas Edwards, will continue to provide the high standard of service that clients have come to expect. Emma has worked closely with the team to ensure a seamless transition and clients can be reassured that their matters remain in experienced and capable hands.
