Leading Yorkshire law firm Ware & Kay Solicitors, with offices in York, Wetherby and Malton, is pleased to announce the appointment of Emma Farrell as a Senior Associate in its growing Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.
Emma’s expertise spans a wide range of contentious matters. She will advise clients on commercial contract disputes, shareholder disputes, insurance claims, and professional indemnity claims (particularly involving construction and legal professionals). Emma also has experience in contentious trusts and probate disputes, proprietary estoppel and TOLATA claims. Her extensive background enables her to support businesses and individuals in managing risk, resolving complex issues and protecting their interests with clarity and confidence.
Originally from Manchester, Emma joins Ware & Kay with over twenty years’ experience advising clients across a broad spectrum of commercial and general civil disputes. She obtained her BA (Hons) degree from Oxford University in 1999 and qualified as a Solicitor in Dublin in January 2003.
Known for her technical knowledge and pragmatic approach, Emma works closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver practical, commercially focused solutions. Her colleagues and clients consistently highlight her teamwork, adaptability and flexibility, alongside her strong legal expertise.
