York Leading Yorkshire law firm Ware & Kay Solicitors, with offices in York, Wetherby and Malton, is pleased to announce the appointment of Manny Thandi as Commercial Property Solicitor to its growing team, strengthening the support available to businesses, developers and investors across Yorkshire and beyond.
Manny brings experience across a wide range of commercial property matters. She will advise clients on acquisitions and disposals of commercial freehold and leasehold property, commercial leasing, licences, refinance, landlord and tenant matters and the property aspects of corporate transactions. She also has a particular interest in sustainable real estate, including green leases and renewable energy initiatives within the property sector.
Originally from the East Midlands, Manny joins Ware & Kay with three years’ experience in Commercial Property. After successfully completing her law degree in 2009, she later obtained a Master’s degree in International Development Law & Human Rights from Warwick University in 2011. Manny passed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination and was admitted as a Solicitor in January 2023.
Manny has managed complex property transactions on a national scale and will work closely with the firm’s established Commercial Property team to support clients across Yorkshire and beyond, helping businesses, developers and investors navigate property transactions with clear, practical advice. Manny will be based at the York office.
