Every year St. Leonard's Hospice joins forces with the national organisation 'Dying Matters' to encourage people to be more open about death, dying and bereavement.

Make a Will and letting your family and friends know your wishes are vital, and it can be a lot more affordable and straightforward than you think. This year, St. Leonard's Hospice are offering you the opportunity to have a Will written, in exchange for a donation to the Hospice.

St. Leonard's Hospice are very grateful to the participating solicitors who are giving their time, free of charge, to write basic Wills in exchange for a suggested donation to St. Leonard's Hospice.

To take part, simply contact Ware & Kay.

Arrange an appointment

Please do this within a month of the campaign launch.  Numbers are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Write your Will

There is no obligation to leave a legacy to the Hospice but if you did wish to do so, then this would be an added bonus, for which we would be very grateful.

Make a donation

Ware & Kay will invite you to leave a donation at the time of your appointment. The suggested minimum donation is £75 for a basic Will, £140 for a pair of mirror Wills and £40 for a codicil (update to your existing Will).

Make a Will ensures your wishes are clear if you choose to leave a gift to a charity. The legacies that St. Leonard's receive enables them to continue to provide care and support for local people with life threatening illnesses - these gifts help support future generations and cost nothing in your lifetime. Any gift large or small makes a difference and it is a wonderful way to help others.

Pick up one of the free bookmarks, available in the Hospice Shops, highlighting the importance of making a Will!
