I aim to help individuals and businesses to resolve their disputes in a pragmatic fashion. I recognise that most people wish to avoid court proceedings if possible and will assist you with exploring alternative ways of resolving disputes. Sometimes, court proceedings are necessary and I can help with all aspects of these from issuing proceedings to trial and enforcing the judgment.
I can help with a wide range of disputes, although I have a particular interest in property disputes as well as disputes over Probate and inheritance. I am sensitive to the needs and priorities of clients and realise that your aims and outlook in challenging a Will are likely to be very different from if you are a commercial landlord looking to enforce the terms of your lease.
I am originally from Bristol and studied Classics at the University of Cambridge before converting to Law at the University of the West of England. I trained with a full-service firm in Bristol, where I particularly enjoyed litigation work and gained exposure to a range of disputes, including claims relating to financial advice and applications to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
I moved to Ware & Kay shortly after qualifying and work as part of the Dispute Resolution Team.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and walking although my particular passion is rowing, where I am a cox for the local rowing club.
